Visit Wales has awarded The Imperial Hotel its esteemed Gold Award, making it one of the most prestigious Four Star Hotels in Wales.
The aim of the Gold Award is to reward outstanding quality, exceptional comfort and hospitality in the serviced sector in Wales. The Award also recognises businesses that have been successful in a Mystery Shopper exercise to test their customer interaction skills and those that have been able to demonstrate a high commitment and on-going development to improve their business for guests with disabilities.
A delighted Geoff Lofthouse, General Manager of The Imperial Hotel said; “I am thrilled we’ve been awarded Visit Wales’ Gold Award which along with winning the prestigious AA Hotel of the Year Wales Award last year is testament that our entire offer for guests is first class, and that our reputation for being Llandudno’s largest quality Four Star hotel with outstanding food and service is justified.
“We continue to ensure all our guests whether here for lunch, a business event, wedding, our health and fitness centre or staying with us have a memorable visit and this Award is acknowledgement of the important role everyone at the hotel plays in achieving this and their continued hard work.”
The Imperial Hotel joins 27 other hotels on Visit Wales’ Gold Award List of accommodation for 2011/2012 who were all congratulated on their achievement by Business Minister Edwina Hart who said;
“Although tourism has strong growth potential, the competition in the global market place is intense. Quality is the key to the future success of the tourism industry in Wales and these accommodation businesses are setting an exceptional high benchmark of quality, they exceed customer expectation and are first class products in all respects. I wish them every success for the future.”
