Environmental Policy
Ideally situated as a base from which to explore North Wales with or without a car, or as a convenient conference destination, the Imperial Hotel has something to offer every visitor.
Public transport
Being a five-minute walk from the station, the Imperial is easily accessible by train and there are a number of exceptional train journeys locally to be enjoyed during your stay.
Fair-trade and local produce
Guests can enjoy free-range meat, organic wine and drink Fair-trade coffee in the knowledge that growers and pickers are not being exploited.
As active members of “Taste for Wales”, our modern menu reflects the seasonal specialities that the area has to offer.
Our plans for the future
As both an energy saving and a security measure, the Imperial Hotel has begun the installation of key card room controls. New builds will be planned for energy efficiency and a regimented installation programme is in place.
Water conservation
Water conservation measures are being introduced as a matter of course and the company’s ultimate aim is to consider the life cycle of all products used. Staff are environmentally conscious in their daily operations and encouraged to introduce practices which reduce wastage.
Green electricity
Green electricity powers the operations while meters allow us to measure water consumption and set targets for reduction.
Environmental Award
We are proud to have achieved Level 2 of the Green Dragon Environmental Standard (GDES).
