Sailing is a fun and affordable activity and there are plenty of sailing clubs around North Wales with many offering sailing lessons or "taster sessions". If you want to learn to sail we recommend taking an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) course and these range from learning the basics and starting to sail with a dinghy course through to learning to skipper a yacht. Once you're proficient and have the necessary qualifications you can then choose to hire or a charter a boat.
Llandudno Sailing Club has a variety of sailing courses for adults and youths which are open to non-members. There’s Levels 1 and 2 for Adult Basic Skills in Dinghy Sailing, Level 3 for Adult Improver as well as Youth Levels 1 to 4 for Youth Basic Skills.
