Dear Friends of The Imperial Hotel

As the response to the coronavirus pandemic continues to unfold, we wanted to keep you up to date with what we’re doing at The Imperial Hotel

The health and safety of our guests and teams has always been of utmost importance to us and this has never been more true than it is now. With this in mind, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close The Imperial Hotel
as of 6pm on Sunday 22nd March.

Following the latest government guidance around limiting social interaction, particularly in public spaces such as restaurants and bars, we believe closing the hotel is the right course of action.

If you have made any reservations with us, we are deeply sorry that you will not be able to visit at this time and a member of our team will be in contact with you.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank those of you that have chosen to stay and dine with us over the last few months. It’s been a difficult time for all of us and your trust and continued support has been really appreciated.

We’d also like to thank our wonderful team for everything that they do. For many of our people, this will mean not working until we can safely reopen and this has been the hardest part of our decision. We will be doing everything we can to support them through these unprecedented times.
This is a temporary closure and we look forward to opening our doors again as soon as possible. In the meantime, please follow the government guidelines yourselves and stay safe.
Best wishes
Geoff Lofthouse FIH
