2016 has been declared the Year of Adventure in Wales, and while adventure means different things to different people it’s all about creating a personal sense of challenge.

The Imperial Hotel raised £575.61 at its first ever Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 25 September.

With Red Bull Unleashed, a major surfing event, being held at Surf Snowdonia next weekend, 18 and 19 September, it is now official that North Wales is the adrenalin capital of the UK.  

September has started with a flourish as we see more and more businesses returning to organising corporate events, and our Winter Conference Offer is also proving a great incentive for businesses to look ahead and plan now for business functions up to the end of February.   

British Food Fortnight from 19 September to 4 October is an awareness campaign to encourage everyone to stand together in support of British food and British producers, and here at The Imperial Hotel we totally support this campaign but for 52 weeks of the year not just two!

Although we can’t promise a white Christmas, we can assure you of a magical festive season in Llandudno.

There are plenty of events to get you into the festive spirit as well as opportunities for you to find that special handpicked gift, and with our Special Breaks you can enjoy a traditional time while being spoilt in the luxury of The Imperial Hotel.

We’re delighted to be supporting Maesdu Golf Club’s Open Week, 4-13 September, by sponsoring the Chantrey’s Scratch Challenge Trophy on Monday 7th and The Open Mixed Greensome on Sunday 13th.

Geoff Lofthouse, general manager, also took part in the Prudential Ride London Surrey 100 on 2nd August 2015.

Geoffrey Lofthouse, general manager; Arwel Jones, executive head chef and Rhys Jones, fitness instructor raised £2,783.75 for the Wales Air Ambulance in their 300 mile cycle challenge from Hampshire to Llandudno in June.

As the days slowly get shorter with the impending arrival of autumn, the weather often offers us a late burst of summer. So for those that want to hold on to the sun for just that little bit longer taking a break at this time of the year is just the tonic before winter.
