The Conwy Business Awards celebrate excellence in Conwy both at a business and individual level, and we are delighted to have won the Destination Conwy Tourism Award for Attractions and Accommodation.
The Awards were held at a prestigious dinner at Venue Cymru on Friday 19 May with Rupert Moon, former Wales International Rugby Scrum, as the compere for the evening. Geoff Lofthouse, general manager of The Imperial took to the stage to collect the award while Rupert Moon highlighted the judges’ comments:
The Imperial Hotel is an elegant four star hotel majestically positioned in the heart of Llandudno offering panoramic views across the bay.
The hotel opened its doors in 1872 and has seen many changes over the years.
A health and fitness centre was opened in 1989.
The hotel has 98 bedrooms, two restaurants and two conference and banqueting suites.
The hotel gained four start status in 2007.
This year, Chantrey Restaurant was awarded a second AA rosette for dining. This award is been achieved by only 4% of hotels in the UK.
