Walk Up Mountains

When you’re looking for outdoor adventures for the whole family, you can’t visit North Wales without at least a day spent walking or seeing the mountains.

Maybe your goal as a family is to tackle a particular walk, or challenge, like walking to the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)(Wales’ highest mountain) or maybe little legs are dictating a shorter, less extreme challenge.

Whatever you wish to do, you can do it in the safe hands of an expert guide. There are walking experiences to suit every level of hiker, or perhaps simply driving along the winding roads and seeing Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park’s mountains is enough of an adventure. If that’s the case, stop in one of the local villages or towns for an ice-cream or coffee and take in the views.

Wander Around Amazing Gardens

A short drive from our Llandudno hotel is Bodnant Garden, Conwy. In just 15-minutes you and the family could be wandering and exploring the wonderful 80 acres of the National Trust owned Bodnant Garden; with play zones, woodlands, meadows and plenty of places to picnic and play.
