North Wales guarantees fun for all the family this summer

Now that the schools are on the final run up to the end of term and the sun has finally put in an appearance, many people’s thoughts are turning to holidays, and for those with children the solution to the never-ending problem of how to keep the children entertained for weeks on end.

This is where North Wales comes into its own as it offers so much for everyone to see and do whatever their age and interests. Action packed, adrenalin fuelled and family fun, it’s all here waiting to be discovered by you and the one thing we promise is that you’ll never hear the phrase “I’m bored!”

If you’re looking for an Action-packed adrenalin-fuelled break, then North Wales really is the outdoor playground of the UK! You can learn to sail, kayak or kiteboarding, play golf at one of the 40 golf clubs, go mountain biking or enjoy the scenery from either a 2 seater buggy or a segway. There’s a toboggan run, a Perma Snow slope for Skiing or Snowboarding, rockclimbing, coasteering and white water kayaking, but for that real adrenalin rush you won’t find better than either zip wiring through underground caverns or zip wiring on the fastest zip line in the world over a disused quarry. North Wales also has the world’s first subterranean playground with giant trampolines, walkways and slides. How about that for a challenge?

But if it you want something for all the family to enjoy, the fun in Llandudno ranges from the quintessential donkey rides, Punch and Judy Show and boat trips. There’s also a farm with free entry where you can enjoy trailer rides around the grounds, watch the farmer shear the sheep and get as close as you dare to native and foreign species of owls and birds of prey. Within easy driving distance there’s a Zoo with tigers, monkeys and ostriches, golden eagles, otters, penguins, sea lions and chimps, plus we have the only family adventure park in the UK to provide true eco-friendly rides including the only people-powered rollercoaster in the world.

And after all that you’ll need time for a spot of relaxation so why not enjoy a swim in our indoor swimming pool, rest in the spa bath and visit our steam bath and sauna to leave you feeling totally refreshed. You can also be pampered at our beauty therapist who offers a wide range of treatments but you will need to book before you arrive. But if you’ve still a bit more energy left, we also have two gyms equipped with a range of cardiovascular and weight training equipment.

And in the evening you can choose from the award winning Chantrey’s Restaurant for a fine dining experience, or The Terrace for a more informal and relaxed atmosphere, and at both you’ll be served an array of mouthwatering dishes using only local produce for the true taste of Wales.

Come and experience all that North Wales has to offer on our special Family Break or one of our several Summer offers. You won’t be disappointed.
