Now that the schools are on the final run up to the end of term and the sun has finally put in an appearance, many people’s thoughts are turning to holidays, and for those with children the solution to the never-ending problem of how to keep the children entertained for weeks on end.

There’s also a farm with free entry where you can enjoy trailer rides around the grounds, watch the farmer shear the sheep and get as close as you dare to native and foreign species of owls and birds of prey. Within easy driving distance there’s a Zoo with tigers, monkeys and ostriches, golden eagles, otters, penguins, sea lions and chimps, plus we have the only family adventure park in the UK to provide true eco-friendly rides including the only people-powered rollercoaster in the world.
And after all that you’ll need time for a spot of relaxation so why not enjoy a swim in our indoor swimming pool, rest in the spa bath and visit our steam bath and sauna to leave you feeling totally refreshed. You can also be pampered at our beauty therapist who offers a wide range of treatments but you will need to book before you arrive. But if you’ve still a bit more energy left, we also have two gyms equipped with a range of cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
