blog zip world velocity cropped 2North Wales is the zip line capital of the world offering zip lines both above and below ground.   Zip Line Velocity is the longest zip line in Europe at a mile long and also the fastest in the world with riders exceeding speeds of 100mph.    Prepare to soar at heights of 500ft over the largest historic disused slate quarry in the world, and if you dare to open your eyes you’ll be rewarded with the most spectacular views of the North Wales coastline and beyond.

Zip Line Titan croppedIf want to share the experience at the same time with your friends or family then Zip Line Titan is the answer.  This is the only four person zip line in Europe and has three zip trip experiences where riders reach speeds up to 70mph as you fly over moor, mountain, mine and even over buildings.

Zip Line Caverns croppedFor those that dare to be a bit more adventurous, we suggest you find your inner Harrison Ford or Karen Allen for an Indiana Jones-esque adventure at the world’s largest fully underground zip line.  Zip World Caverns is based in a disused slate cavern and as well as offering zip lines there are also rope bridges, obstacles and tunnels to overcome before you reach your end goal about 3 hours later.

blog Bounce Below cropped 2If you prefer to jump start your day then Bounce Below is the answer. This is the world’s first subterranean playground set in another historic disused slate cavern which is twice the size of St Paul’s Cathedral.  It’s fitted with giant trampolines, walkways, slides and tunnels all made from netting.  There’s also a Bounce Below Junior for children aged between 3 and 6 where they’re free to run, climb and slide and have their own fun filled adventure.

Go Below croppedFor a complete all-round underground adventure Go Below will have you zip lining through caverns, climbing vertical shafts, boating across a lake, traversing over an abyss, scaling a waterfall and abseiling your way down to the deepest point in the UK.  There are three adventures with varying challenges to choose from but all offer pure adrenalin pumping fun.

Tree Top croppedAnother above ground experience can be found at Tree Top Adventure which offers a thrilling, high level, adventurous journey set 50ft up in the trees.  Follow the course to negotiate over 28 obstacles including balancing beams, rope bridges and a zip wire before dropping from the trees on an exhilarating and heart-stopping PowerFan parachute simulator.

blog MicroflightTake to the skies on a microlight flight which allows you to experience North Wales from a different perspective.  These aircrafts are the motorcycles of the sky so not only will you be able to fly like a bird over Snowdonia National Park or along the coastline taking in the Great Orme and Llandudno but as you’ll also be in control of the aircraft you’ll experience the joy of flying from a pilot’s perspective.
