From there, if you have more energy to spare, follow the path to Angel Bay where you may be lucky enough to spot Grey Seals basking in the spring sunshine.
The Great Orme
The Great Orme is just one of the many reasons Llandudno is so popular; the grand limestone headland draws many walkers and nature-lovers year-round. Being a protected nature-reserve and designated Country Park, it’s bursting with history and is a glorious habitat for rare flora and fauna, including seabirds and butterflies.
There are several walks on and around the Great Orme, from longer nature trails to shorter historical trails.
To get to the top, you can follow the Summit Trail sign, then once there, choose to follow one of the headland walks atop which is a great opportunity to spot native wildlife, including the herd of Kashmiri Goats that’s been roaming the slopes for over 200 years!
